ERRA Membership

It is certainly hard to believe that another year has gone by! Why it seems like just yesterday we were dealing with Holiday and New Years Parties. But time marches on, and so does the work at the ERRA.

This year is going to present a unique opportunity to participate with the SRA in Louisville, November 1st-2nd. This will give us the ability to keep the "regional" feel and at the same time, see what our peers on the "other side of the regional fence" are doing.

It would be nice to see many of the faces who have not been able to attend in the past. , We all have fond memories of past conventions and the friends we got to share time with.

While I know that many are not sitting idle, this organization was created and is continued for the enrichment of the reprographics community in our backyard. If we continue to see declining trend in attendance at the ONE event we organize each year, there may come a time where the ERRA stops being a viable organization.

For those who have continued to support the ERRA, one behalf of the board I thank you. For those who may have strayed, don't become part of the reason that this organization looses its' ability to define who we are and what we do in the marketplace.

It's early enough in the year to mark these dates on your calendar and renew those friendships you've let slip by.

I have had the pleasure of attending the SRA in the past and I must say that they are very much the" family" that we are in the ERRA. And in addition, many in the Vendor community have expressed their support for the opportunity to see two regions' membership at one time in a great venue.

This is a part of the country that I had always wanted to visit but never could make the time until recently I just followed Nike's motto and "just did it". What a great place to visit. Of course there's the premier horse track in the world, that of Churchill Downs, which is a must, and by the way, will be the location of one of the Convention events!

Did you also know that; Louisville has the largest number of Victorian homes in the United States, and has over 2500 restaurants? More Louisville facts will follow in the months to come.

As in any convention preparation, there is much work to be done and we in the ERRA are busy coordinating educational programs and vendor participation with the SRA.

Please continue to support the ERRA with you dues. They go a long way to continue to provide enrichment of the reprographics community in your backyard.

Don't let this be the year you miss another opportunity to network with your peers and renew those reprographics family ties.
